An evolution

It's been a while since I started to experiment with computer graphics. I didn't actually consider the evolution of my skills until this week, when I decided to make my second ever character model and then decided to compare it to my first character model.
As you can see, I used a blueprint of sorts for reference to get all the proportions right. I find the new character model much better looking, despite the model being far from finished, unlike the first character.
I'm a bit sad that I can't find the old character model, because it's quite obvious that at least part of the improved looks depends on me finding the soften edge-function in Maya.
The character model I'm creating is supposed to be used in an animation that's supposed to give an idea of what my game concept, called Ladies & Gentlemen is supposed to be like.
At the time when I made this character model, I was really pleased. He had bags under his eyes, and some, at least what I thought then, well detailed textures.

My first animations

Last week I started a course in computer animation. And today I finished my first ever animations with an animated character.
The goal of the assignment was to make one animation where a character interacts with a light object, and another where it interacts with a heavy object. Although I have been working on the assignment for over a week to find interesting animations to do and to learn how to animate, these particular animations only took a few hours.

Final Thesis pass!

At long last, I've finally received confirmation that I've passed my Final Thesis! Thus I'm finally a fully trained game designer!
So if any game company wants to hire me, here I am!
